North Africa and Middle East’s Pathways to Environmental Policy

On Thursday 30 January, the eighth session of the series Aula Árabe Universitaria  will take place in Madrid, with Giulia Cimini, professor of Political and Social Sciences at the University of Bologna, who will talk about how Arab countries are making a "green turn" in their environmental and economic policies. Starting on October 23, you can visit this exhibition in Madrid. It is an initiative by Casa Árabe and Spain’s Ministry of Territorial Policy and Democratic Memory, conceived by José Miguel Santacreu Soler as the scientific curator and Juan Valbuena as its visual curator.

“Traces of Jordan” exhibition

As of Thursday, December 19, you can visit this exhibition in Cordoba, with works by Jordanian sculptor Anees Maani, in which he explores the evolution of forms in nature and human culture. The display is a collaborative effort between Casa Árabe, the Tourism Office of Jordan and the Jordanian Embassy in Spain.

The Arabs and Their Poetry: A journey across the centuries 

Casa Árabe is hosting this series of conferences at its headquarters in Cordoba, which was organized in conjunction with the Chair of Arab Studies of the al-Babtain Foundation and the University of Cordoba. The series will be running from January through April 2025, and the first session will be held on Wednesday, January 15, given by Juan Pedro Monferrer-Sala. We hope to see you there.
